  • Bryce Powell is a highly respected attorney with nearly three decades of experience in criminal defense and personal injury law. After starting his career as a state prosecutor, Mr. Powell co-founded Verby, Powell & Reed (later Powell & Reed) in Sandpoint, ID before establishing Powell Law Firm in Chicago, IL. Known for his courtroom prowess and dedication to clients, Mr. Powell has successfully defended clients in high-profile criminal cases and recovered millions of dollars for personal injury victims. 

Mr. Powell successfully represented the most seriously injured survivor of one of the worst trucking accidents in the history of the state of Montana. Training & Memberships

Short Course for Prosecuting Attorneys, Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois (1997). In 1936, with the establishment of the annual short course for Prosecuting Attorneys Northwestern Law began what has become the oldest continuing legal education program in the country. This short course offers prosecutors the opportunity to learn about forensic science and evidentiary and trial techniques in an open exchange of ideas and opinions.

National Advocacy Center (NAC), Columbia, South Carolina (1998, 1999). Opened in 1998, the NAC is the premier federal training institution for teaching legal and leadership skills to DOJ personnel and the broader government community. 

Idaho Prosecuting Attorneys Association (IPAA), (1997 to 2000). The mission of the IPAA is to educate, train and assist Idaho’s Prosecuting Attorneys in the pursuit of justice.  

Idaho Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (IACDL), (2000 to 2016). The objective of the IACDL is to promote study and research in the field of criminal law; to foster the expertise of the defense lawyers in criminal cases; and to provide a forum for the exchange of information regarding the administration of criminal justice, and there by to protect individual rights and improve the criminal law, its practices and procedures 

Idaho Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA) (1997 to 2016). Founded in 1967, the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association is dedicated to the preservation of justice for all citizens.
